Clever Comforts Total Pillow Blue
Me and my husband travel a lot and have a bunch of different travel u pillows, but this is by far the best. My husband has back problems and he sleeps in different odd positions trying to find a comfortable one, and a lot of times he wakes up with a stiff neck because of that. Ever since I got this for him last Christmas, he uses it all the time, not just when we're traveling, and now he hardly ever wakes up with a stiff neck. He just loves it, and now I bought one for myself too.
I read one review saying it breaks easily. You should see the ways in which my husband twists it and so far he hasn't managed to break it. It is a little stiff when you first get it, but within a week of using it, it got loose and very nice and comfy. It offers good support. You can just rest it on your shoulder and put your head on it and it will support it, while others would just slip off.
It's a great product and I do recommend it... my husband too. :)
I just took this pillow on a 19 hour series of flights from the U.S. to Africa. It is the first time I found any pillow that didn't make me feel like i was choking or eating my neck. It holds position and let's you keep your neck in the position that you want it in, without falling into your neighbor's seat. I've continued to use this in my hotel and the house where I'm visiting in the 5 nights I have been here. I'm a happy customer.
BalasHapusI am a busy graduate student and this pillow is a lifesaver! I have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders so while I'm studying at my desk, sometimes I put it around my neck. It does great job aligning the neck vertebrae so you don't feel like you have to crack your neck all the time. It seems hard for lumbar support, but you get used to it quickly if you give it a chance. My parents missed my total pillow so much when I took it up to school, they bought another one!

BalasHapusI am a Soldier deployed to Afghanistan. I have been using this pillow every night for the last four months. I have used it sleeping on beds, cots, the floor, armored vehicles, airplanes, and helicopters. Not to mention as a head rest as I try to relax reclining back in a chair. Overall this pillow has been very versitile and has held up extremely well. whenever I have to travel I make sure there is enough room in my pack for it. I don't think I will ever travel without it again. I did try to rip the tag off of it, creating a hole at the seem. But that was my fault, not a product of poor construction(if you play rough with things, they will break). But I used some shoe-goo and medical tape to seal the hole, and it is as good as new(maybe even better now that it is slightly deflated).
BalasHapusNot too sure why others don't like this pillow. Yes, when you first buy it the pillow is a little hard. However with some use it starts to get more comfortable. I have had this pillow for about a month now and I have no complaints.
BalasHapusOf course it isn't as good as the advertisment makes it out to be, but I don't have any issues with it. I love micro-bead pillows. They conform to your needs better than any other pillow. The total pillow can be twisted and folded better than other travel pillows I have used.
I have to say that I was shocked to come in and see how many pillows are breaking open. I have two of them and use them very regularly. I sleep with one and use it when I have migraines (it creates a perfect amount of pressure when I lay on my side, head in the opening, pressure on the temple and on the back lower head). And sometimes I put it on top of an ice pack so I can feel the cold through the center opening, but not have to lay directly on it. I haven't had any problems with either of my pillows. I believe I got both at Walgreens, but may have gotten one at Walmart. I have one of the blue ones and one of the newer with the animal print/brown design. I just checked the seams and they seem super solid... I tried pulling, putting pressure on the seams, etc. Maybe they have multiple manufacturers and some turn out good and some don't, but that's disappointing. I was going to buy a bunch here for Christmas presents, but I'm going to go back over to Walgreens and get them instead, since I know the one I got from there has been excellent. Hope they get the issues fixed because it's a super cool product. I love mine.
