The First Years True Naturalization

The First Years True Naturalization

The instruction booklet for this car seat made the install look somewhat intimidating as it's pretty thick, there are multiple ways to install it, and it's full of warnings. However, the install, which I did rear-facing in a 2003 Audi A4 sedan (which has very little rear seat room) using the lower latch system was really straightforward and I was pleasantly surprised how simple it was. The seat takes up as much room as our previous infant-only Graco snugride car seat, but is a bit heavier and more substantial obviously, because it can be used front-facing once our daughter is big enough. It's wider and fatter, but not necessarily longer than the infant seat.

It's well-padded and feels sturdy and our daughter (8 months) is comfortable in it and didn't seem upset once we strapped her in. The colors are neutral yet sharp looking so it isn't garish or ugly at all. Another reviewer mentioned that this isn't washable/cleanable, but there are snaps to pull off the covers (which you need to do to install it anyway) and there's a section in the instruction booklet on how to keep it clean.

Would definitely recommend this for those looking for an easy-to-install yet sturdy and comfortable car seat for their kids.

  1. I have a friend who has had his green card through his wife for over 3 years. I thought that would be enough for him to apply for US citizenship, but he says there are certain restrictions on immigrants from Guatemala that make him ineligible for 5 years. Is this true?

  2. My mom just became a US Citizen and shortly there after my dad (her husband) passed away. She feels lonely and wants to move back to her country where most of her family is. I heard somewhere she needs to wait one year after naturalization before she can move to a foreign country. It's that true?

  4. I hold American and Russian citizenship already, is dual citizenship allowed? I know you have to reside in Hong Kong for seven years in order to become a permanent resident but what after that? Does permanent residence come with a Hong Kong passport?

  5. I don't see anything bad with catching illegals. But the protestors says the law discriminates against latinos. I heard a cop could stop any mexican and ask for documents?? If that's true, then that's fuckked up!

  6. They now conduct interviews on the weekends too. I heard they aim at processing naturalization applications in 4-6 months, is that true? If so, by when can this become a realistic goal approximately?

  7. There is apparently a statute in French law that says that anyone born on soil that was once controlled by France can get citizenship much easier than someone who was not. If this is indeed true, shouldn't it include someone born in a city that was part of colonial French Louisiana in the United States? If not, why not?

  9. Is that true, if I graduate from a French University, state seeks 2 years of residence rather than 5 years as a part of naturalization process which allows me to become a French citizen. Does this apply for MA or PhD degrees?
